The South Charlotte Chapter brought African heritage to life at the 2019 New Year’s Eve Fundraising Gala titled “Royal Excellence: A Salute to Our Culture”.  The signature event was held at the Levine Museum of the New South in the heart of the city of Charlotte. Guests were adorned in African-inspired black-tie looks including gowns, headwraps, suits, and of course jewels.  The Foundation Committee, led by Foundation Chair Tiffani Jones, organized the event to feature fantastic food, a sensational silent auction, and a dazzling DJ. The event of the night featured a countdown to 2020 topped off with a champagne toast and balloon drop. Proceeds will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Charlotte, Sugar Creek Charter School, and Clinton College.
